Celebrity beauty expert and single mom, Cole Patterson, makes her directorial debut this holiday season with the film “Holiday Hideaway,” which is streaming now on BET+ for the holiday season.The film stars Vivica A. Fox, Camille Winbush, Novi Brown, Rodney Van Johnson and Leonard Earl Howze.
Cole Patterson has been known in the industry for years as a talented makeup artist, groomer, skincare specialist and entrepreneur. She has worked extensively with some of the biggest names in music, television, film and sports. Her client list has included Sheryl Lee Ralph, Yara Shahidi, Cassandra Freeman, The Rock, Gabriel Iglesias and Larenz Tate, among many others. She is most notably known as Usher’s longtime groomer and skincare specialist for over 20 years!

As a female director, Cole Patterson has made it a personal mission to stand for women’s empowerment and is excited about her transition from the beauty industry to filmmaking. Patterson hopes to play an intricate role in diversifying the film and television industry for women and minorities by continuing to pave the way with confidence and a fresh eye for the younger generation.
In addition, Cole is a single mother who is the co-founder of the non-profit organization Single Moms Planet. Based in Los Angeles, Single Moms Planet is dedicated to uplifting under-resourced families and their children nationwide. Building one strong family at a time. Cole gets to explore the themes of family and strong women in this film and plans to expand to look at those roles in her upcoming projects.
